Too many maybes, misses,
and never woulds.
Too many coulds, never was,
and forever shoulds.
Too many unfulfilled dreams,
adventures and goals.
Too many broken hearts, vows
and hard-hearted souls.
Too many risks untaken.
Too many strangers unmet
Too many hands unshaken
Too many sorrows to forget
Too many apologies not given
Too many lessons not learned
Too many great ones are gone
Too many accolades unearned
So many stories untold
So many friends to meet
So many plots to unfold
So many hearts still to beat
So many wrongs to be righted
So many helpless to assist
So many loves to be requited
So many illnesses to resist
